Symbol PocketBrowser Samples 1.0

The Symbol PocketBrowser (SPB) Samples is a collection of sample applications that show off the key features of the Symbol PocketBrowser application. In this version, the samples include Imager, Keyboard, and Notification. The Imager sample demonstrates how to switch on/off the lamp and aim, capture the image displayed in the viewfinder, and save the captured image as a JPEG file. The Keyboard sample shows how to capture key press events on a Symbol PocketBrowser web page. The Notification sample explains how to list notifications.

The Symbol PocketBrowser (SPB) Samples is a group of sample applications developed for demonstrating key functionalities of the Symbol PocketBrowser application. In the current version, following samples are provided.
Imager – This sample demonstrates following imager functionality on Symbol PocketBrowser.
- Lamp switch On/Off
- Aim switch On/Off
- Capture current image displayed in the viewfinder
- Save captured image as a jpeg file
Keyboard – This sample demonstrates the key press event capturing on a Symbol PocketBrowser web page.
Notification – This sample explains how to list notification objects supported by the terminal. In addition, it enables editing parameters associated with each object and invoking each selected notification object.
Scanner – This sample demonstrates following scanner functionality.
- Select/deselect decoder types.
- Set scanner parameters for each decoder type.
-Set maximum and minimum length for each decoder.
